Ingredients
To make the perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies, you’ll need a few simple ingredients that you likely already have in your kitchen:
- 2 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 sticks (1 cup) of Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
You can also use a mixer to quickly combine the ingredients together, but it’s not necessary.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt.
- In an electric mixer, beat 2 sticks (1 cup) of unsalted butter with 3/4 cups of granulated sugar, 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until creamy and well-combined.
- Add in 2 eggs, one at a time, and beat until just mixed.
- Slowly add in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Add in 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Scoop cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheet. You can make smaller or larger cookies, depending on your preference, but we recommend keeping them between 1 to 1½ inches.
- Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Be sure not to over-bake them as they will continue cooking on the baking sheet!
- Let the cookies cool before eating. Enjoy!
