EASY QUICK HOMEMADE STUFFING RECIPE

  • 2 ½ cups onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/3 cup Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ¼ sticks butter, melted
  • 4 to 6 cups stuffing cubes
  • 1 ½ to 2 cups broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and add onion and celery.
  3. Sauté for about 5 minutes until vegetables are softened lightly.
  4. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, thyme and salt and sauté for another 2 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, mix together the vegetables and the stuffing cubes.
  6. Slowly add broth until the cubes are lightly moistened.
  7. Spray a 9×13 casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
  8. Transfer mixture to the prepared dish. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Uncover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  10. Fluff stuffing with a fork before serving.
