  7. Using a pastry cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into 4-5″ circles.
  8. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  9. Cook lefse for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.

  • Sour cream and salsa for topping, if desired

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the bell peppers, onion, jalapeño, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the salt, black pepper, cumin, oregano, coriander, and chipotle pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the diced tomatoes, black beans, chicken broth, and diced green chiles. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is reduced and the mixture is thick, about 25 minutes.
