Ingredients
To make the perfect lasagna for your family, you will need an array of ingredients. Start by setting out:
- 1 box of Ronzoni Lasagna (16oz)
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- ½ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup of freshly grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup of ricotta cheese
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion, stirring for about 5 minutes until the beef is browned. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the salt, oregano, and crushed tomatoes to the skillet, stirring and simmering for about 10 minutes.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions.
- Combine the Parmesan, mozzarella and ricotta cheeses in a bowl. Stir to mix.
- Spread a light layer of the beef mixture in the bottom of a 9X13-inch baking pan. Cover with ⅓ of the noodles.
- Spread ½ of the cheese mixture over the noodles. Top with another ⅓ of the noodles.
- Spread the remaining beef mixture and cheese mixture over the noodles. Top with the remaining noodles.
- Cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Slice and serve.
